Members of the Capay Valley Fire Protection District are volunteers, and are not compensated for their time.

Paid "Safety" classified employees of Capay Valley Fire Protection District are CalPERS eligible and the current wages are available in our annual Salary Schedule.

Capay Valley Fire Protection District occasionally sends apparatus and personnel to large incidents for extended periods of time through the California Fire and Rescue Mutual Aid System. Wages for these incidents are hourly, and billed in accordance with the baseline rate provided by California OES.

In compliance with state law, we provide reports to the State Controller's office annually. Board and Staff member compensation can be viewed on the State Controller's PublicPay website.
